The Monastery was built in Round Hill by the Ukrainian people with the intention that a few Basilian Fathers live there and serve all the Ukrainians in the county of Camrose. However, their dream was never realized. The Monastery was left vacant and so Father Stanley Zenko rented it, while his rectory was being built.

In August 1977, it was purchased by the Roman Catholic Parish of Round Hill and is used for retreats, meetings and sessions, etc. It still bears the name of Monastery. It was sold in the winter of 1987 (cf. Father Zenko’s Book p. 294)
